I starting taking TNJ in 2002 when I was told my Blood Pressue was 190/140, and I didnt want to take tablets. it is now between 125/80 and 135/85 and recently I had blood tests done. I was told my kidney function was phenominal, as was my red, white and platelette counts. my good colestoral is perfect, my bad just above the upper normal limits. I think I surprised the doctor as I am starting to slowly lose the 20+ kgs I had put on SINCE 2002 (I was 110kgs then, so do the maths). I strongly believe Tahitian Noni Juice is keeping me healthy and can't wait to see how I feel when I lose the weight. I take 1oz of noni morning and night, and a can of HIRO vitality after lunch to get me through the work afternoon. I feel great :-)

I had complete kidney failure in 2004. I started taking TNJ in 2005. I wasn't cautioned by an MD, but due to my extreme sense of control, I started with .5 oz and slowly increased it by .5 oz after each monthly blood work. The only effect I seen was my blood pressure, which was OUT OF CONTROL, suddenly became stable. I went from taking 9 blood pressure pills a day to 1 pill every other day. I continued to take 4 oz a day until after my kidney transplant in 2007. Now I take 6 oz a day to keep my new kidney working great! I wish I knew of TNJ earlier, maybe I wouldn't have lost both of my kidneys in the first place. I feel great and have the energy to take care of my now 7 year old daughter.

Thank you for this info. I have a friend that was told not to take TNJ. So many MDs don't have a full understanding how TNJ woks.

Thank you so much for this reply, information on this blog is very valuable.
Questions about TNJ and Kidney function keep arising, some due to an unfortunate incident in Europe for many years back, however the uncertainty that arose then NEVER had anything to do with Juice from Tahitian Noni International, that is why it is so important to be careful which noni juice you chose to take.

My brother suffered renal failure about five years ago and as a result ended up on dialysis for two years before having a kidney and pancreas transplant on April 10th 2008. A few weeks before surgery he was advised that his arteries were in a poor condition and that was causing concern for the pancreas transplant. He went on TNJ immediately and after the operation the surgeon commented that he didn't know how he had missread the x-rays. One week after surgery he resumed TNJ and was discharged on the 15th day. His recovery rate is astounding everyone involved and thankfully both organs are performing very well. see story on this link.

Thanks so much for this info. I heard the same thing from someone, but refused to believe that noni would do harm in any way. I have trusted noni for 8 years for everything, why would i stop now.

Thanks for verifying this info. I knew about how TNJ could affect those in renal failure d/t my son having this problem. I am also a nurse and have studied in the field of nephrology. The largest problem is making sure and getting the commitment from the patient that they are going to keep check on the K level. My son would not, so he is unable to take the juice. Our goal in the medical field is to help heal and to do no harm. As already stated and as we know TNJ promotes healing and repair. I am glad we have this article to bring to those this info. Thanks again.

It is so important with today's information sensitive climate, to be able to substantiate and accurately represent a product with complete confidence. Thank you for this kind of validation.
