Lack of sleep linked to early death

The systems in our body are interlinked. In all things there is a Cause and an Effect. For example, if we eat and don’t exercise, we tend to become overweight. If we get ourselves into stressful conditions too often, we may become seriously ill.

The Passing of Dr. Ralph Heinicke

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Ralph Heinicke on 23 November 2002 in Singapore.

Dr. Heinicke was in Singapore to conduct a lecture, at the invitation of TNI Singapore, on Noni and the Xeronine System at our local university.

I remembered him as a warm, patient and jovial person. And he was very fit and strong for his age. After the lecture, he took time to autograph his books for the audience and also to pose for pictures.

You can read more about Dr. Heinicke here: http://www.tipsofallsorts.com/about-ralph-heinicke/

Sadly, Dr. Ralph Heinicke passed away last Thursday after a fall at home.

I reproduced John Wadsworth posting at the TNI blog:

From John Wadsworth:

With deep regret, I announce the passing of Dr. Ralph Heinicke, one of the great scientific minds of our time. Ralph was at home with his lovely wife, Anne, last Thursday when he fell and sustained serious head trauma. Although medical help arrived immediately, Dr. Heinicke could not be revived.

Ralph was a brilliant scientist, and many have called him the “Father of Noni.” It was his published research on noni fruit that originally caught our interest and helped inspire the worldwide distribution of this remarkably beneficial plant called noni. His original scientific studies laid the groundwork for much of what we now know about this amazing fruit.

Besides being an amazing scientist, Ralph will also be remembered for his genuine warmth, his good nature, and his dear friendship. He has literally blessed the lives of millions of people around the world, and he will be sadly missed. Our love and prayers go out to his sweet wife, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Although he is considered by many to be the “Father of Noni”, in many ways he was a father to us all.

We will genuinely miss him.

Many of you have met Dr. Heinicke personally too. Do share with us your comments below.
